In the drama 'Love on the Menu', two characters continue a tense emotional confrontation, exchanging words mixed with hurt toward one another.

Emotional clashes and wounds starting from everyday jokes

The pre-release video for episode 19 of the KBS drama 'Love on the Menu' captures the conflict and emotional clashes between the characters. In the video, the characters begin with everyday conversation, which gradually leads to deep emotional conflict. One character starts the conversation by suggesting they share some cocoa, saying they bought too much. When the other person expresses a joke-filled concern, asking if they will take responsibility if they eat all the cocoa alone and suffer a blood sugar spike, the character who made the suggestion responds by saying they also have the money to buy cocoa and would drink thirty cups a day. The conversation, which formed a light atmosphere with remarks suggesting they don't care whether others get diabetes or not, soon shifts to a heavy topic.

"I won't go to you, Mu-jin"… Unstoppable pursuit despite hurtful words

According to the dialogue in the video, one character declares a severance of the relationship, stating they will absolutely not go to Mu-jin. They express a desire to stop the situation where mean and hurtful words are spoken every time, showing a desperate wish for Mu-jin to look at them. In response, the other person shows a cynical reaction, saying, "Just don't be the only one getting hurt by your own words." The other person maintains a cold attitude toward the emotional appeal, saying that Mu-jin can say mean, painful, and hurtful words as much as they want.

"I won't let you go again"... The will to move forward directly

Even amidst the flow of conflict, a will to not let go of the relationship is revealed. One character mentions that they put effort into coming out today because they wanted to see the other person for a long time, appealing for them to look at them kindly for even just 5 minutes, considering the person's sincerity. Regarding the other person's expectation that they will eventually get exhausted, they respond by saying they will push forward every single day, so the other person should abandon such thoughts.

In particular, toward the end of the video, a statement mixed with a vow follows, saying they will never foolishly let you go again, suggesting that the complex emotional lines between the two characters will continue. The video previews the development of 'Love on the Menu', a drama about a man and a woman who gather the fragments of a broken family to prepare the warmest meal of life in the world.
