"Hawasu Never Die" is due to reach viewers through Wavve in December, with Hwang Kwang-hee appearing as a cameo, "Team Leader Hwang," to meet Jeong Jun-ha's character. The project brings back Infinite Company, a popular segment of MBC's "Infinite Challenge," on the OTT platform Wavve.

A drama, not just a variety spin-off

The series is scheduled for release within the year. It is a drama-format work aimed at fans who miss the old Infinite Company, mixing the original members with new faces. It is not a simple extension of a variety show: it adds dramatic elements, and its episodes are expected to cover a company dinner as well as conflict and reconciliation among the characters. During filming, the cast worked in the segment's trademark humor, eating jajangmyeon and livening up the mood with four-line poems.

Cameo and new faces

In a scene from the video, Hwang Kwang-hee appears as "Team Leader Hwang" and runs into Jeong's character, Manager Jeong. Hwang Kwang-hee teased him with the line "I'm a team leader now," recreating the chemistry of the "Infinite Challenge" days and lifting the mood on set. The cast traded reactions such as "It's better than expected" and "The atmosphere is great."

As filming went on, the relationships between characters took shape. Attention fell on the subtle dynamic between Jeong's Manager Jeong and Yoon Doo-joon's Manager Na Dae-yeong, and on the arrival of newcomer Kang Yeo-jeong, who plays Ahn Yeong-hui. Despite shooting for the first time, Kang blended quickly into the set and won recognition from her fellow actors.

From the script reading

The filming footage released by the Hawasu channel shows Jeong Jun-ha (as Manager Jeong), Yoon Doo-joon (as Manager Na Dae-yeong) and Park Myeong-su, figures who carry on the line of the old Infinite Company, gathered together. At the script reading, Jeong said, "I'll work hard to stir up nostalgia for Infinite Challenge fans, to be fun and to get good reviews." Even though he was seeing the script for the first time, he set the tone and led the reading.

Yoon Doo-joon introduced his role as Manager Na Dae-yeong, calling him "an actor with presence who, despite the name Na Dae-yeong, can't really show off." On set, the actors immersed themselves in the script as if studying it, and efforts continued to recreate the old Infinite Company atmosphere. Jeong also joked, "I have a habit of memorizing the whole script and then tearing it up, as I used to, but this time there's a next scene, so I can't tear it."

According to people on set, the cast recreated their past selves while also putting effort into learning the script so they would blend with the new characters. "Hawasu Never Die" is set to officially reach viewers on Wavve this December.
