Moon Se-yoon "I couldn't stand seeing DinDin using his mother's card"
Moon Se-yoon candidly revealed DinDin's past and the conflicts they experienced during their '2 Days & 1 Night' days on the YouTube channel 'Alttalttalhan Chamgyeon'.
"He was like a wildcat gnawing at my sides" Moon Se-yoon reveals his first impression of DinDin
Comedian Moon Se-yoon made a blunt and candid remark regarding singer DinDin's past behavior. Appearing as a guest on the YouTube channel 'Alttalttalhan Chamgyeon' on July 7, DinDin reminisced about the past alongside Muzi, Huh Kyung-hwan, and Ahn Jae-hyun. The video was released under the title 'The secret to DinDin's image surge: The senseless graduation.'
Muzi first brought up an anecdote from the early days when Moon Se-yoon joined '1 Night 2 Days,' noting that Moon had called him to pour out his worries. When Moon Se-yoon asked how to deal with DinDin, as his behavior sometimes went too far, Muzi advised him to speak up firmly as a senior. At the time, Moon Se-yoon jokingly shared his feelings, saying he was so bewildered by DinDin that he thought, "If I hit him once, he might actually die."
Appearing via phone connection, Moon Se-yoon pointed out DinDin's past without hesitation. He delivered a direct blow, saying, "Back then, I really couldn't stand him." In particular, he mentioned DinDin's appearance during his appearance on 'Show Me The Money,' when he was using his mother's credit card and driving around in a Mini Cooper. He described DinDin's tone during broadcasts as irritating and lacking energy, saying he felt like "a wildcat gnawing at my sides."
Moon Se-yoon added that he judged DinDin was learning the wrong kind of "swag" and had even personally tried to teach him what real hip-hop is. He explained that he wanted to show him the difference between outward bluster and true confidence.
Discord during the '1 Night 2 Days' era and the struggles of a 7-year member
The conflict between the two also stemmed from differences in their roles within the program. DinDin recalled that when Moon Se-yoon joined '1 Night 2 Days,' he tried to lead the atmosphere by playing a role similar to Kang Ho-dong from Season 1. Moon Se-yoon confessed that he tried to be like Kang Ho-dong at the time, but it was difficult because he eventually realized he couldn't become him.
DinDin gave a realistic response, asking, "It's 2 AM, how am I supposed to have energy?" which caused stress for Moon Se-yoon, who was trying to lead the proceedings. DinDin explained the difference in their temperaments at the time, saying, "He probably wondered why I wasn't helping him."
DinDin also spoke candidly about the psychological pressure of filming '1 Night 2 Days,' which has been ongoing for seven years. He said he starts feeling stressed from Monday ahead of the filming held every other Friday. He revealed that he suffers from anxiety, fearing that if his condition breaks down around Thursday, he will "become crap" on the filming set. In a situation where physical management is essential, poor condition leads to ruining the shoot.
DinDin said, "If my condition is bad around Thursday, I'll be crap when I go. That one day is so hard."
Ahn Jae-hyun's memory of the 'mature DinDin' and the IV drip anecdote
On the other hand, Ahn Jae-hyun shared an unexpected side of DinDin. Ahn recalled that during past '1 Night 2 Days' shoots, DinDin was actually the most mature. When Ahn appeared to be in such bad shape that he fainted and couldn't get up during filming, DinDin advised him to get an IV drip after the shoot.
Ahn Jae-hyun replied that he actually went to get an IV drip following DinDin's recommendation. DinDin revealed an anecdote where he sent a text to Ahn saying, "Since you did '1 Night 2 Days,' you have to do this to avoid catching a cold."
