Kim Min-ji Escapes the Cold Storage, Confronting Joo Kang-chan's Plan

In the 6th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Manager Kim' aired on the 11th, the pursuit of Manager Kim (played by So Ji-sub) as he searches for his daughter, Kim Min-ji (played by Seo Soo-min), was depicted.

After escaping from the cold storage, Kim Min-ji hitched a ride in a vehicle on the road, but the driver was Joo Kang-chan (played by Joo Sang-wook), who intended to dispose of her. Taken to a villa, Min-ji was interrogated by Joo Kang-chan. Min-ji replied that she regained consciousness in the cold storage and could not remember why she was there. She also explained that a man who looked like a gangster chased her with a knife, and she couldn't hear the sounds from behind due to the sound of rain.

Joo Kang-chan did not believe Min-ji's words. He had understood the entire situation from the moment Min-ji pretended to sleep as soon as she got into the car. Joo Kang-chan pressed her, saying, "Since our Hyeri tried to kill you, what should I, her father, do?" He continued to pressure her, saying, "Maybe it's because you're still a student, but you're clumsy at hiding your emotions. You're also clumsy at lying about losing your memory." Joo Kang-chan revealed his plan to erase Kim Min-ji from the world by treating her as a missing high school girl, stating he could cover up any wrongdoing for Hyeri's sake.

Chaos at the Special Task Force Headquarters and the Rescue Operation

The situation changed rapidly as Special Task Force agents intervened. Director Kang Guk-cheol (played by Won Hyun-jun) secured Kim Min-ji and brought her to the headquarters. When Min-ji woke up in the interrogation room, Kang Guk-cheol pressured her by mentioning Manager Kim's true identity. Kang Guk-cheol said, "Your father was originally a spy. If your father's identity is exposed, agents from the North will come down. But your father, who was living quietly like a mouse, exploded because of you."

The rescue operation unfolded as Seong Han-su (played by Choi Dae-hoon) infiltrated through a ventilation shaft. Seong Han-su tried to escape with Min-ji, but Dang-gang-aji (played by Won Hyun-jun) surrounded them. Seong Han-su instructed Min-ji on the escape route, saying, "Min-ji, if you look to the back left, you'll see an emergency exit. When I count to three, don't even look back and run th—"

At that moment, Park Jin-cheol (played by Yoon Kyung-ho) appeared and took control of the scene. Park Jin-cheol burst through the wall and detonated flashbangs and smoke grenades. Seong Han-su moved while covering Min-ji's eyes, and upon seeing the blank shot fired by Park Jin-cheol, Dang-gang-aji ordered his subordinates to take Min-ji. Subsequently, Jeong Sang-ah and Mr. Lim secured Min-ji, and the agents sedated her to move her to a safe location.

Manager Kim's Fury Subdues the Vice Minister of National Security

Manager Kim grew furious while confirming Min-ji's location via radio. He warned Dang-gang-aji, "If you even touch a single hair on my daughter, you're all dead." He also added, "I said I'd walk in on my own once I find my daughter. Finding my daughter comes first. I'll send a gift in advance, so wait."

Inside the Special Task Force headquarters, the Vice Minister of National Security tried to control the situation by pointing a gun, but Manager Kim subdued him by strangling his neck with a thin wire. Manager Kim overwhelmed the Vice Minister and took control of the scene.

The Father and Daughter Finally Reunite

After the chaos subsided, Manager Kim finally faced his daughter, Kim Min-ji. Manager Kim appeared before Min-ji, who was trembling while surrounded by agents. Manager Kim said to Min-ji, "Min-ji, Daddy's here. Let's go home now."
