The cast of KBS 2TV’s ‘Boss in the Mirror’ conducted market research in Monterrey, Mexico, to develop new menu items. Lee Kyung-kyu and Yang Jun-hyuk visited a local restaurant boasting a 40-year tradition. They focused on the local food culture by tasting 'Cabrito,' a regional specialty of roasted goat barbecue.

The team led by Jun Hyun-moo and Chef Jung Ho-young took a different path. They visited a Michelin-starred restaurant in the San Pedro area, often referred to as the 'Cheongdam-dong' of Monterrey. The local head chef came directly to their table, recognizing and greeting Jung Ho-young. The chef even mentioned being aware of the Korean variety show ‘Culinary Class Wars’ Season 2.

As a six-course meal began, the studio atmosphere grew restless. Watching the magnificent Michelin dishes on screen, Lee Kyung-kyu's eyes widened in shock. He expressed his jealousy in an agitated voice, saying, “No one came to see us, so what on earth is that!” A sharp contrast emerged between the team roaming local eateries and the team visiting a Michelin restaurant.

During this process, Lee Kyung-kyu revealed a behind-the-scenes story of when he once proposed a movie production investment to Yang Jun-hyuk, only to be rejected. Although Yang Jun-hyuk usually listens intently to Lee Kyung-kyu, he avoided the topic of movie investment by looking away. When Jun Hyun-moo delivered a reality check, saying, “I guess movies really weren't for you,” Lee Kyung-kyu continued the playful atmosphere by casting eyes that seemed to be eyeing movie investment once again.
