The first theme of this battle is 'Food that will turn Karina into a cartoon protagonist.' Kim Pung, a former webtoon artist, showed confidence as soon as the theme was revealed. Mentioning Kim Pung's dishes that had previously garnered attention for their unique appearance, Karina requested, "I'm looking forward to a second 'X-kkuraji.' Please make a masterpiece today."

Her opponent is Park Eun-young. Park Eun-young has won all six of their previous head-to-head matchups. She confidently predicted a 7th consecutive win, saying, "Regardless of the theme, I can beat Kim Pung." Kim Pung countered, stating he would break his long losing streak with a dish that embodies Karina's image.

Dinosaur-shaped dumplings and tree-shaped Jajang rice, conflicting culinary results

The cooking process was intense. Kim Pung declared he would make Tyrannosaurus-shaped dumplings, but during the process, the shape changed unexpectedly, drawing concerned reactions from the scene. As the cooking slowed down, Kim Pung expressed his distress, saying, "How did I even enter the culinary world?" He continued to complain while struggling to create a green color to match the dinosaur theme.

Park Eun-young also had no room to relax. She moved busily, entrusting tasks to Chef Kwon Seong-jun. Kwon Seong-jun also appeared to become sensitive. Park Eun-young continued her challenge to make Jajang rice in the shape of a tree.

The results were presented. Kim Pung's dish took on a shape similar to a dinosaur, and Park Eun-young's dish looked like a tree with a unique shape. The guests reacted that both dishes were cute.

Star chef and dedicated chef team battle, a meticulous plan in 30-second increments

The second battle is the first in 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' where a star chef and the chef who has assisted him form a single team. The team of Choi Hyun-seok and Kim Seon-yeop, who have worked together for 14 years, competed. Their opponents were the team of Son Jong-won and Woo Do-hee, who caught attention with their similar appearances.

The cooking methods of the teams were starkly different. Based on their long-standing chemistry, the Choi Hyun-seok and Kim Seon-yeop team naturally divided roles to complete their dish. On the other hand, the Son Jong-won and Woo Do-hee team prepared a plan that divided the 15-minute time limit into 30-second increments to approach the battle meticulously.

Amidst the rising tension, Woo Do-hee drew laughter by giving an unexpected answer to host Kim Seong-ju's question. Son Jong-won even defended his junior, saying, "I couldn't even answer at first." Upon seeing the finished food, Karina said, "It felt like I was looking at a work of art."
