I-dle, 'Gimme Dat Love' in China
I-dle, having successfully completed their 9th mini album promotions, will continue their global activities with performances at Lollapalooza in the US and in Macau.
I-dle has completed promotions for their 9th mini album 'We made'. Finishing their domestic activities with a performance on SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 19th, they showcased their musical color by sequentially performing the title track 'Gimme Dat Love', the pre-release track 'Crow', and the B-side track 'Morning'.
The success of their activities was reflected in the numbers. The title track 'Gimme Dat Love' ranked number one for two consecutive weeks on the China QQ Music digital album bestseller weekly chart and also topped the Tencent Music Korea chart. In Korea, following their entry into the YouTube Music weekly chart, they recorded 4th place on the YouTube daily Shorts popular song ranking. In particular, short-form videos utilizing the chorus 'LO-O-O-O-VE' surpassed 100 million views within just ten days of posting.
Addictive sound leads to the main stage of Lollapalooza in the US
Global magazine Euphoria evaluated 'Gimme Dat Love' by stating that the whistling sounds and the intermittent sing-along sounds maximize the song's charm, and that the chorus is so addictive it evokes admiration. I-dle showed their chemistry as members by appearing on the YouTube content 'Phone A Fangirl' and communicated with fans through various platforms such as the SBS Power FM 'Cultwo Show' live, and YouTube's 'Matchun-da-kani' and 'Sungchan's Etterview'.
After finishing their summer activities, their next destination is the United States. They will meet global fans by taking the main stage at the large-scale music festival 'Lollapalooza' held in Chicago, USA, at the end of this month. The following world tour will continue into Asia. '2026 I-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] IN MACAU', held at the Macau Galaxy Arena on August 29, sold out as soon as ticket reservations began. Reflecting the demand, an additional performance on August 30 has also been confirmed.
The impact of music broadcast stages and short-form challenges
This 9th mini album centered on performances on music broadcast stages. They appeared on major programs such as 'Inkigayo', 'Music Bank', and 'Show! Music Core', presenting stages that captured the summer atmosphere. The impact on short-form platforms was also significant. Challenge videos utilizing the 'LO-O-O-O-VE' section recorded high view counts, driving the digital music performance.
While revealing the members' personalities through appearances on the YouTube channel 'Matchun-da-kani', I-dle expanded their scope of activity by continuously producing various short-form content. This momentum led to the US Lollapalooza stage and the sell-out of the Macau performance.
