Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream to You' find themselves swept into a whirlwind of complex emotions following their first kiss. In the fifth episode, airing at 10 PM on the 27th, the shifting relationship between the two, who confirmed their feelings for each other in the rain, will be depicted.

In the released still cuts, Subeen Woo (played by Hwang In-youp) stands alone in a room with a pale face. The image of Subeen guarding the room with a painful expression contrasts with Ju I-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri) looking at him anxiously from outside the door. Subsequently, the two are shown with their backs against each other on opposite sides of a door, eyes closed and smiling, revealing a change in their relationship as they find stability simply through each other's presence.

A turning point in their relationship marked by a first kiss in the rain

The relationship between the two reached a turning point in the fourth episode. Ju I-jae, who was about to give up on her dreams after hitting the wall of reality, decided to challenge film production again, bolstered by Subeen Woo's sincere consolation. The two agreed to make the film 'Gyeongseong Love Song' together, and the deepening emotions during this process led to their first kiss in the rain. The preview for episode 5 captures the two bickering awkwardly immediately after their first kiss.

The episode also includes a scene where Subeen Woo faces his father, Woo Cheol-gyu (played by Jung Hae-kyun), in distress. The preview suggests that his hidden past wounds will be revealed. The production team plans to portray the love and growth of the two as they move toward the common goal of filmmaking, becoming 'healers' for one another.

Rising viewership while targeting the Asian market

'Dream to You' is a romantic comedy that tells the story of first loves reuniting over their dreams. In Korea, the drama recorded a personal best viewership rating of 2.9% as of episode 3 and is on the verge of surpassing 3%. The response from the global market is also pouring in. During its first week of release (July 13–19) on the Asian-specialized OTT platform Viu, it ranked number one in Indonesia and Thailand and entered the top three in six major Asian countries.
