A university student nearing graduation is drawing attention after winning the Grand Prize at the National Museum of Korea's costume play stage through creative ideas and thorough 'physical' preparation.

According to details revealed through a recent tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' video (uploaded to the Diggle channel), the winner among the 275 teams that participated in this year's National Museum of Korea costume play is Jeon Eun-seul, who is from a club at Joongbu University. Jeon clinched the victory with a costume embodying a white porcelain carp-shaped water dropper.

40,000 won in production costs and 3 days of preparation, the efficiency that completed the 'Carp'

Jeon Eun-seul cited ideas and physical strength as the secrets to this Grand Prize win. Applying for this competition with the desire to reach the peak of her university life before graduation, Jeon prepared her costume in a thoroughly efficient manner. According to the explanation in the video, Jeon prepared materials worth approximately 40,000 won, such as white tights, acrylic paint, and face painting, and completed the costume in just 3 days. In particular, she shortened the production process by utilizing technology, such as receiving recommendations for coloring tools from AI.

The process of taking photos after completing the costume was not easy. Jeon shared in the video that while trying to take photos alone, she suffered a cramp in her stomach and had to lie down, and continued the shoot with the help of a high school friend. She also added that she put effort into weight control while performing exercises to strengthen her core muscles (such as 200 leg raises, repeating 30-second planks, etc.) to maintain the shape of the carp.

"If I just do it, it works"... Finding vitality in university life amidst job-seeking stress

For Jeon, a nursing student facing employment, this challenge held more meaning than mere play. In the video, Jeon confessed that she had been stressed due to uncertainties about the future, such as job preparation and TOEIC scores, which caused her personality to become somewhat withdrawn. However, through participating in this costume play, she thought, "This was me," and said she was able to regain her vitality through it.

Jeon's performance also received high marks during the judging process. According to the video subtitles and judging comments, the direction, which looked as if the carp were jumping out of a river, and the creation of an atmosphere symbolizing passing the state examination in the past, led to excellent scores. Jeon shared her thoughts, saying, "At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but after actually making it to the finals and winning, I realized that 'if I just do it, it works'."

A video message to ENHYPEN's JUNGWON... "I've stepped into the same industry"

Enjoying the joy of victory, Jeon also left a video message for JUNGWON, a member of the idol group ENHYPEN whom she usually admires. Jeon expressed her fan heart by saying, "JUNGWON, I made it this far. I've become a little closer to you," and wittily describing her situation of appearing on a broadcasting station as "stepping into the same industry as you."
