Actor Cho Jung-seok mentioned the need for leisure that he feels amidst his busy daily life. In a video posted on his YouTube channel 'Channel Jo Jung-seok', Cho Jung-seok visited Haebangchon in Yongsan District, Seoul, with junior actor Lee Su-chan and shared his inner thoughts about daily life while having a conversation.

In the video, Cho Jung-seok mentioned the reason for visiting Haebangchon and his current lifestyle patterns. Cho Jung-seok revealed that he usually handles a busy schedule due to filming, and said that due to marriage, childcare, and housework, he is not accustomed to the time spent enjoying leisure while sitting in a cafe drinking coffee. Through this exploration, he expressed his feelings that the leisure felt in Haebangchon is awkward yet pleasant.

In relation to this, Lee Su-chan explained that he tends to spend time alone. Lee Su-chan added that since his friends are acting majors, it is sometimes hard to meet them because their schedules are different, so he likes to spend 4 to 5 hours reading books or reading e-books on an iPad. Cho Jung-seok expressed envy toward Lee Su-chan's such lifestyle.

The "sense of liberation where life is separated" felt in Haebangchon

The two also talked about the atmosphere of Haebangchon and the feeling contained in its name. While moving with junior Lee Su-chan, Cho Jung-seok mentioned that wearing clothes he does not usually wear makes him feel as if he has come on a trip. In particular, regarding the feeling given by the name Haebangchon, Cho Jung-seok made remarks to the effect that he feels a sense of liberation as if life is being separated.

In the video, Cho Jung-seok also recalled memories of filming sites and mentioned the weather and environment at that time. Recalling the weather during the filming in Banghwa-dong when there was only a single cloud, he spoke of the situation contrasting with today's weather in Haebangchon. In the weather where the temperature reached 30 degrees Celsius at that time, Cho Jung-seok expressed his thoughts that he would want to stop filming because it is cold in winter and hot in summer.
