This video, released through KBS 'The Return of Superman', captures a family taking maternity photos against the beautiful sea of Yangyang. The shoot was organized as a process of creating special memories, with a couple waiting for their child, nicknamed 'Chaltteok-i', inviting the mother to take maternity photos together.

"Changes beyond the realm of management"... A time facing an unfamiliar body type

The participant, who had never experienced changes in body type since her debut, revealed her honest feelings about her body changing rapidly during pregnancy. She confessed that when her belly began to show at a certain point during pregnancy and the physical changes moved "beyond the realm of management," the process of accepting her altered appearance was not easy.

The participant conveyed that the period of accepting her belly growing and her body type changing due to pregnancy was the most difficult. However, she added that she realized the process of accepting these changes while feeling the baby inside was the very process of becoming a mother. She explained that looking at the shape of her belly made her realize the baby inside was her own, leading to the experience of developing maternal love.

A mother's earnest prayer and a daughter's belated realization

At the center of this shoot was the presence of the mother. The participant decided to invite her mother, who knew the famous spots in Yangyang, to take photos together. At the filming site, the mother showed active participation, even preparing new outfits for her daughter's maternity photos.

The participant mentioned that from her 20s until now, her mother had not asked deeply about her inner self, marriage, or pregnancy. Although the mother did not show it outwardly, the participant appeared moved during the shoot, thinking that her mother must have been earnestly waiting for her pregnancy in her heart.

The mother also shared the hope she had held, saying regarding her daughter's pregnancy, "I always had an earnest desire in a corner of my heart for there to be a baby, and that was the priority of my prayers." The mother expressed the excitement of welcoming a grandchild and enjoyed the time spent with her daughter throughout the shoot.

A record left by mother and daughter, three meanings

The maternity photo shoot continued with the couple and the grandmother posing together against the waves of Yangyang. The couple participated in the shoot by facing each other or posing as if waiting for the child. Through the experience of leaving photos with her mother, the participant found three meanings.

The participant conveyed that while taking photos with her mother was awkward at first, it was a heart-touching experience. Furthermore, she expressed a sense of pride, feeling as though she had performed a filial duty to her mother, and shared her sentiment that this entire process was happy.
