NCT 127 has entered full-scale preparations for their fifth concert, 'NEO CITY : THE REDLINE'. Rather than a simple single structure, this performance is planned as a two-part series under the theme of 'momentum', where energy advances to the next level. The core of the performance is 'overheating'. This does not mean overheating in a negative sense, but rather captures the process of reaching a critical point to move toward a higher point.

"Energy Surpassing the Critical Point"... Concert Concept Decided as 'Redline'

During the meeting to decide the concert title, the members continued discussions among various options such as 'Overheat', 'The Flare', and 'Redline'. The members reached a consensus that 'Redline', which symbolizes the end of a gauge—the critical point—best represents the concept of this performance. Redline refers to the point where energy overheats and reaches a limit, and it will be utilized as a visual element throughout the entire performance.

The narrative of the performance leads to an escape from a space. In a way that connects and reproduces elements from previous performances, they are designing a flow that starts from a bag carried by a specific member, awakens through a cube, and leads to the members directly rising up to escape the space. For this, composition plans regarding whether to place the title track at the beginning or the end of the performance were also discussed.

From 'Fire Truck' to 'Paper Plane'... Setlist Composition for Fans

In the setlist composition, strategic choices considering the members' preferences and fan reactions stood out. 'LEGACY' was mentioned as the song to open the performance, and a composition was also discussed to present 'Fire Truck' and '2 Baddies' together with a band-style arrangement. In particular, 'Fire Truck' teased an electrifying stage through variations such as a 'Waterbomb version' that differs from its existing atmosphere.

The members actively recommended songs among the included tracks that are easy for fans to sing along to or easy to direct on stage. 'Lemonade', 'Bring The Noize', and 'Cherry Bomb' were put forward as candidates, and they plan to place 'Paper Plane' and 'Touch' in the latter half of the performance to have time to breathe with the fans. They are considering 'The Day We Meet Again' as the ending song, and they are elaborately refining the choreography and story to present an unforgettable moment to fans.

Passion Continuing to the Poster Shoot, "Will Show the Charm of the Five"

Following the planning meeting, the concert poster shoot took place. Matching the 'Redline' concept, the members produced an intense and sexy atmosphere, visualizing the stage concept using a red background and point outfits. The members stated that as this is their fifth concert, they are putting in a lot of effort to show a new charm unique to NCT 127 that they haven't shown before.

The members stated they are preparing so that this performance can leave joyful memories for fans, and they are also preparing broadcasts through various platforms such as Beyond LIVE for fans who cannot visit the venue. Discussions regarding setlist adjustments and stage direction will continue to increase the perfection of the performance.
