Profiler Kwon Il-yong shares story of paying 300,000 won meal for junior officers
Profiler Kwon Il-yong and psychiatrist Lee Gwang-min appeared as experts on the variety show 'Secret Guarantee' to discuss their recent activities and experiences in the entertainment industry.

Profiler Kwon Il-yong and psychiatrist Lee Gwang-min appeared as experts on the variety show 'Secret Guarantee.' In the 592nd episode released by VIVO TV, the two experts shared updates on their recent lives and their thoughts on entering the entertainment industry.
Kwon Il-yong's "bittersweet" story of paying 300,000 won for juniors' meal
During the broadcast, Kwon Il-yong revealed a ridiculous episode he experienced while traveling for lectures in regional areas. While traveling through various locations including Daegu, Busan, Geoje, and Tongyeong, he encountered three sturdy men near his accommodation in Busan. At the time, Kwon was on a police business trip and confirmed that the men he met were his junior police officers.

Explaining the situation, Kwon stated that he intended to ask the juniors, who said they had not eaten, for recommendations for good restaurants, but he ultimately ended up paying about 300,000 won for the meal. "I spent the whole night wondering, 'Did I give them too much?'" he said, drawing laughter. He expressed gratitude to the juniors for recognizing him and greeting him, asking, "If I were in trouble, would my juniors see me and help me?" While expressing thanks, he also gave cold advice to the juniors, telling them to "wake up" and noting that "not just anyone can do [broadcasts]."
Lee Gwang-min's struggle to adapt to variety shows
Psychiatrist Lee Gwang-min is approaching the entertainment industry in a different way than Kwon Il-yong. Lee described his situation as "struggling to survive," noting that his external schedule of lectures and broadcasts has increased to the point where he has had to reduce his clinical practice days.
In particular, Lee mentioned his contract with his agency, confessing, "I am sometimes told I am 'naive' because I speak too honestly about contract terms and other conditions." Reflecting on his role at the agency, he expressed his ambition by saying, "If you roll me around in a place like the bottom of the intelligence scale, I will run there anytime." Kwon joked about Lee's entertainment career, comparing it to a "yellow belt" stage and suggesting he still has a long way to go.
From consulting for The Roundup to playing a psychiatric patient: experts' entertainment dreams
The two experts also spoke about their variety show activities related to their professional fields. Kwon mentioned his experience playing the role of a Commissioner General of Police in the film 'The Roundup: Punishment' and revealed that he is scheduled to participate in 'The Roundup 5' as a consultant rather than an actor. "No one asks what the consultation content is," he joked. He also shared an anecdote about worrying because his lines as the Commissioner General on the film set were about three pages long, jokingly suggesting that the film director and production crew might be deceiving him.
Regarding future activities, Lee expressed a specific wish: "If a drama consultation comes in, please let me appear as a psychiatric patient." He discussed the potential for entertainment use by mentioning past comedic tropes, such as the setting of "pretending to be a psychiatrist only to be revealed as a patient."
