Kim Min joins Dongducheon village festival while Kian84 celebrates birthday at family home in Jeju Island

MBCentertainment has released a preview for the variety show 'I Live Alone,' capturing the daily lives of Kim Min, who participated in a village festival in Dongducheon, and Kian84, who celebrated his birthday at his family home on Jeju Island.

Kim Min visited the site of the '2020 Dongducheon Village Grand Festival,' an event held once a year in Dongducheon. The festival atmosphere was characterized by a higher proportion of elderly residents rather than younger people. Amidst remarks that "the young people have left and many elderly people remain," the high energy of the participants, who have a high average age, continued. Residents were seen engaging in competitions with shouts of "the veterans are not dead."

During the athletic competitions, Kim Min participated in a running race with his teammates. The scene depicted the village residents mingling during the sports day, with moments such as "the two of you aren't in sync" or "the two of you aren't running well" occurring during the race. The competition began amidst voices saying, "We are coming in last, so our team must win," and "even cold water has an order."

Kian84's birthday spent at his family home in Jeju Island

Kian84 visited his family home on Jeju Island to celebrate his birthday. Noting that he rarely has reason to visit his family home unless it is a traditional holiday, he decided to stay on Jeju Island starting from this birthday. Kian84 spent time eating a lunch box prepared by his mother at the family home, expressing his gratitude for the meal she packed for him.

His daily life on Jeju Island continued with him traveling by motorcycle. While riding, Kian84 was seen enjoying the sea air of Jeju Island, even checking his reflection in a mirror. Reflecting on the fact that 10 years have passed since he first went to Jeju Island at the age of 33, he expressed his feelings that time passes too quickly. He shared that the rapid passage of time does not feel strangely uncomfortable, but rather like a fun love.

While staying on Jeju Island, Kian84 also showed himself preparing gifts to express his gratitude. He spent time at his family home selecting items, thinking it would be good to give a gift as a token of thanks while visiting Jeju Island.
