'Baseball Queen 2', with 308 applicants, features the fierce determination of Black Queens

Channel A's sports entertainment show 'Baseball Queen 2' has confirmed its premiere for July 9th at 10 PM. This season begins with a massive tryout, attracting a total of 308 applicants from 47 different sports. Among the applicants are top-tier athletes holding a total of 117 medals, including 8 Olympic medals, 22 Asian Games medals, and various National Sports Festival medals.

By discipline, softball players are the most numerous with 29 applicants, promising skilled play across all positions, including base running and batting. Promising badminton and tennis players have also joined in large numbers. Among the badminton players, a left-handed pitcher who threatens Black Queens' ace Jang Su-young and a player with a pitching form comparable to an active baseball player appeared. Tennis players showcased precise hitting abilities aiming for the spot of Season 1's powerhouse Song Ah, while a former track and field javelin thrower threw a fast ball of 110 km/h on the mound.

Black Queens reorganized after the disappointments of Season 1

The center of Season 2, the women's baseball team 'Black Queens,' took time to reorganize after recording 4 wins and 4 losses last season and undergoing a player release process. The players devoted themselves to training during the off-season. Kim Seong-yeon and captain Kim On-ah revealed their extreme training process, stating, "There is no other way than to work hard," and "We worked desperately hard during the off-season." Other players also expressed their determination, saying, "A large amount of practice does not lie," and "We will prove it with results."

The third teaser video confirmed their improved performance. Park Ha-yan showed her training movements leading to an actual 'super diving catch,' while Kim Seong-yeon and Ayaka demonstrated stable defense and throwing abilities. Kim Seong-yeon, Lee Su-yeon, and Park Ha-yan showed progress in both offense and defense, such as leading to safe calls through aggressive base running.

The skills of the existing core members have also been strengthened. Pitcher Jang Su-young struck out batters with powerful stuff while also producing hits at the plate.
