When cooking for his wife, he showed skilled proficiency using various kitchen tools, such as a vegetable chopper purchased from a home shopping channel.

He is also known to pour passion into second-hand trading. Han Su-min shared a humorous anecdote, saying, "My husband keeps buying things even if they are already at home or unnecessary," noting that Park Myung-soo is so dedicated that he even disguises his voice during second-hand transactions.

The meeting between the two was dramatic. Han Su-min, a doctor, met Park Myung-soo through an introduction from a senior in a medical study group. Han Su-min recalled receiving 10 calls a day from Park Myung-soo for a week, even before she had seen his face. Park Myung-soo began his direct pursuit of love, drawn by the praises of his senior's wife regarding her and by her voice.

The marriage process was not smooth. Due to strong opposition from Han Su-min's family, the formal meeting between the two families could only take place two weeks before the wedding.
