The girl band QWER has signed with Warner Music Japan and will make their official Japanese debut on July 8th with "SHOW DOWN," the OST for the anime 'Tomb Raider King'.

Girl band QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) has signed a contract with major Japanese label Warner Music Japan and will officially debut in the Japanese market. Through this agreement, QWER has secured a foundation for activities in the local Japanese music market.
Release of Debut Single 'SHOW DOWN' on July 8 and OST Participation
The signal for QWER's Japanese debut is the digital single 'SHOW DOWN,' to be released on July 8. This song serves as the opening theme for the Japanese anime 'Tomb Raider King,' which airs on Fuji TV and Kansai TV, marking QWER's first participation in an anime OST. 'SHOW DOWN' is a Japanese-language track that expresses the message of moving forward regardless of others' perceptions through an energetic sound. A portion of the song was pre-released through the anime PV released on the 16th.
This project includes not only the opening but also the ending song. The ending song 'To Be Continued' was partially revealed during the world premiere advanced screening held on the 13th. This song carries a message of finding hope even amidst an uncertain reality, showcasing a different charm from the intense opening track.
The Encounter Between Global IP 'Tomb Raider King' and QWER
The original anime, 'Tomb Raider King,' is a fantasy work produced by Redice Studio. It depicts the process of the genius tomb raider Seo Joo-heon conquering the world using the power of relics. The original webtoon is a global IP that has recorded a cumulative 200 million views in Korea and has gained popularity in Southeast Asia and English-speaking countries.
Local Activities in Japan and Member Reflections
QWER has already been active in the Japanese market. They released a Japanese version of their debut song 'Discord,' performed at local music festivals, and conducted the world tour '2025 QWER 1ST WORLD TOUR 'ROCKATION'' touring three Japanese cities last March.
