In this work, Shin Ye-eun challenged the romantic comedy genre for the first time. In the drama, Yuk Ha-ri is the girlfriend of the public health doctor Do-ji, a character who hides deep wounds behind a bright exterior. During a meeting at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Shin Ye-eun opened up about her contemplations to build the character. She said, "In every episode, her love for her grandmother and her past wounds are revealed, so I acted while imagining, 'What would I do?'"

She focused on adding depth to the character rather than simply showing a bright side. Shin Ye-eun added, "In particular, I tried to express the growth process of Ha-ri, who has a special bond with her grandmother, and her tenderness in warmly embracing the wounds of her boyfriend Ji-ui, in a simple and sincere way."
