Entertainer Park Myung-soo reacted intensely to the news of world-renowned maestro director Christopher Nolan's first visit to Korea.

On the KBS Cool FM 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show' aired on the 10th, Park Myung-soo hosted the 'Search N-Chart' segment with guest Jeon Min-ki. When Jeon Min-ki shared the news of Director Nolan's first visit to Korea, Park Myung-soo raised his voice, saying, "Why is he only coming now? I told him so many times to come."

Park Myung-soo's reaction traces back to 2018. At that time, on the same program, he made a bold statement regarding Director Nolan's failure to visit Korea, saying, "Isn't Korea a major market? He should come to Korea at least once to meet fans and say some kind words." This single remark made eight years ago has now converged with the news of his upcoming visit.

When it was mentioned that Director Nolan even wrote a handwritten letter for Korean fans, Park Myung-soo unleashed his signature unfiltered wit, saying, "He's come to his senses. It's a handwritten letter, right? Not ghostwritten. If I find out, you're in trouble." Mentioning that he is the same age as Director Nolan, he added, "We are the same age, but he is truly a genius. He is different from me. Regardless of being the same age, I respect him so much."

Director Nolan lands in Korea on August 3rd with 'Odyssey', meeting Korean fans in person

Director Christopher Nolan will finally set foot on Korean soil on August 3rd through the film 'Odyssey.' Actors Matt Damon and Charlize Theron will also accompany him on this visit.

Director Nolan, who has been greatly loved by Korean audiences through films like 'Interstellar' and 'Oppenheimer,' personally coordinated his schedule for this visit. Through a handwritten letter, he expressed his feelings, saying, "I am grateful for the love and support Korean fans have shown my films. It is even more meaningful to visit Seoul through 'Odyssey,' and I am sincerely happy to meet Korean audiences in person and present this film."

The film 'Odyssey' is scheduled to be released on August 5th. Director Nolan actively requested this visit and coordinated his schedule specifically to meet Korean fans.

During the broadcast, Park Myung-soo revealed his true feelings regarding radio ratings without reservation.
