Actor Yoo Yu-jin has been selected as the new face of the drama series 'Speaking Dead.' Her agency, Andmark, announced that Yoo will play the role of Kim Ji-yoon, a female soldier who pursues the truth for justice, starring alongside Han Suk-kyu and Jung Yu-mi.

'Speaking Dead' is a mystery tracking thriller that uncovers the truth of a case buried in darkness over 10 years ago, triggered by the confession of forensic scientist Jang Jae-wook (played by Han Suk-kyu), who has been identified as a notorious terror suspect. Kim Ji-yoon, played by Yoo Yu-jin, is a character who suffered a crime during her military service and possesses a strong inner strength, refusing to back down until the truth hidden behind her case is revealed.

Kim Ji-yoon occupies a pivotal position that determines the flow of the drama. This is because the past incident she experienced is the starting point for all the events occurring in the present and serves as the key link to unraveling all the threads. At the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival held on the 11th, some episodes of the drama were pre-released in a theatrical format.
