Singer Choi Yoo-jung recalled a dizzying fire accident she experienced in the past. Appearing on the 28th episode of SBS Plus's 'Shin-ppal Talk Show: Mysterious Stories 2', Choi Yoo-jung recalled the urgent moment when a fire broke out in her dormitory while she was preparing for her second album following her re-debut with Weki Meki.

The situation at the time was intense. Choi Yoo-jung shared her terrifying experience, saying, "I woke up while sleeping in the living room, and the whole house was red." Since the agency was in the building right next door, she had to flee to the practice room, and she revealed that she was wearing full-body bear pajamas, even with a hat on. Due to the flames, the face part of the bear pajamas was burned through, but fortunately, her hair did not catch fire.

Recalling how fans loved the album immensely after this incident, Choi Yoo-jung said, "I guess we were warding off bad luck." In this episode, which airs at 10:30 PM on the 13th, she surprised the cast members while explaining the situation at the time.

She also opened up about the psychological pain she experienced before her debut. Just before being selected as the final center on Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016, there was a period when she felt she was going to break down because it was mentally too difficult. Despite experiencing unbearable pain at the young age of seventeen, she mustered the courage to participate in the audition program, which eventually led to her debut.

Contrary to her glamorous stage presence, Choi Yoo-jung harbored deep concerns about her own nature. On the show, she confessed, "I feel like my disposition or personality is far from the profession of a celebrity." While she comforted herself by saying she has become much stronger after going through hard times due to not having a strong mental state, she also questioned whether she has a true calling that suits her well.

Following this confession, Choi Yoo-jung eventually burst into tears. MC Lee Guk-joo comforted her, saying, "How much you must have suffered to enter this fierce place." The shamans mentioned that "if being a celebrity hadn't suited you, you would have given up already," noting that enduring until now is a talent in itself. They also advised that supporters would begin to appear starting this year, adding that her schedule would overflow after appearing on the broadcast.
