Irene completes first solo tour with all seats sold out for Bangkok performance
Red Velvet's Irene successfully completed her 5-city tour with her first solo Asia tour 'I-WILL', which saw all seats sold out at the MCC Hall in Bangkok.
Red Velvet's Irene concluded her first solo Asia tour in Bangkok, Thailand. On the 18th, Irene held the ‘2026 IRENE ASIA TOUR [ I-WILL ]’ concert at MCC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The performance was a complete sell-out amidst great interest from local fans.
A Solo Repertoire Alternating Between Vocals and Performance
The concert opened with Irene's first solo song, ‘Like A Flower’. This was followed by stages showcasing Irene's vocal capabilities, including songs such as ‘Summer Rain’, ‘I Feel Pretty’, and ‘Wasteland’.
The stage composition did not stop at vocals. Intense performance-oriented stages were arranged, including ‘Strawberry Silhouette’, ‘Black Halo’, and ‘SPIT IT OUT’.
During the encore, existing hit songs were presented with new arrangements. Red Velvet's ‘Rookie’ was reinterpreted as a jazz version, while ‘Russian Roulette’ was reimagined in a city pop style. Additionally, solo stages for ‘Winter Wish’ and ‘Start Line’ were added.
Touring 5 Asian Regions and Solo Career Path
Starting with the Seoul concert last May, Irene toured five Asian regions, passing through Taipei, Macau, and Singapore before arriving at this Bangkok performance. This tour was a process of confirming her position as a solo artist following activities with the group Red Velvet and the unit (Red Velvet-Irene & Kang Seul-gi). Irene concluded the tour by selling out the MCC Hall, which accommodates thousands.
After finishing the performance, Irene said, “It doesn't feel real that it's already the last concert. This tour was possible thanks to the support and love of the fans. I sincerely thank everyone for creating happy memories.”
Red Velvet Full Group Comeback on August 3rd
