In episode 27 of Channel A's 'Time Between Dog and Wolf 2', the situation of Wolf No. 3's family is revealed, where they have instead turned into 'wolves' after being rescued from the brink of death.

In the past, these seven dogs were in a serious crisis. The environment was so poor that they barely stayed alive by eating feed mixed with maggots, and their health was so precarious that all seven were infected with heartworms at the time of rescue.
