The true-story-based thriller talk show ‘The Psychopath I Met’ (hereafter referred to as ‘The Psychopath I Met’), co-produced by MBN and SBS Plus, will move its broadcast time to Sunday nights at 10:20 PM starting from the 26th. It has ranked 6th overall and 2nd in the variety category in Netflix South Korea's TOP 10 series, and has maintained its OTT buzz for two consecutive weeks by also appearing at 10th place in Coupang Play's ‘TOP 20 of the Week.’ While TV ratings dropped from 1.1% (based on MBN) for the first broadcast to 0.8% for the second episode, it is recording high rankings on online platforms.
Lives destroyed by cults, “A bad version of Sky Castle”
The third episode, airing on the 26th, takes the theme ‘Save Us from Evil.’ It highlights how cults destroy individual lives through real-life incidents. Cases that caused social problems, such as financial extortion, sexual exploitation, and family breakdown, will be revealed.
In particular, a story will be covered where parents aiming for prestigious universities fell into wrong beliefs and caused suffering even to their children.
