This marks an increase from the previous episode's 21.5% and approaches the series' peak rating of 23.1%. Starting at 9.5% for the first episode, 'Agent Kim Reactivated' saw steady growth through the second episode (15.7%) and third episode (18.8%), ultimately ranking as the second highest-rated Friday-Saturday drama in SBS history, following 'Penthouse 2' (29.2%).

'Flex x Cop 2,' the successor set to carry on the momentum of 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' has confirmed its premiere for August 7. Following Season 1, which peaked at an 11.0% rating, this new installment expands the scale of the investigation. Director Kim Jae-hong set the goal of making "a Season 2 that surpasses Season 1." The scope of the 'FLEX investigation' has expanded, with Jin Yi-su (played by Ahn Bo-hyun) chasing criminals overseas via private jet. In the third teaser released on the 24th, Yoo Seong-won (played by Yoo Seung-ho) appeared smiling while covered in blood.
