DinDin and Lee Joon win half-day leave vouchers on Days on Night Season
On Days, DinDin and Lee Joon managed to win a half-day leave pass. After boasting about their Saju compatibility, the two faced disappointment during the beef mission when Lee Joon exceeded his time limit.
The cast of KBS 2TV's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' secured their long-awaited half-day leave during the 2026 Summer Workshop. In the episode aired on July 26, a high-tension drawing ceremony took place to determine the winners of the coveted half-day leave that the members had been desperately wishing for.
As a result of the lucky draw prepared by PD Joo Jong-hyun, the winning team was revealed to be the one consisting of DinDin and Lee Joon. Kim Jong-min expressed his disappointment, noting that DinDin and Lee Joon had the highest number of draw balls at 15, remarking, "The odds are terrifying." Upon hearing the news, DinDin and Lee Joon couldn't hide their joy, bursting into cheers. The production team offered them an extraordinary condition: they could head home immediately after waking up tomorrow morning. Watching this, Lee Yong-jin lightened the mood by jokingly suggesting to the crew, "Why don't you just let them leave early and not pay them their appearance fees?"
DinDin and Lee Joon's 'Invincible Teamwork' Even Matched by Saju Compatibility
Having secured the half-day leave, DinDin and Lee Joon basked in their victory, flaunting their teamwork. DinDin drew laughter by boasting about the gap between the teams, saying, "Are we staying as this team? I think we should change our team name to 'Good Vibes Team'." Kim Jong-min highlighted their relationship by mentioning that the two had consulted their Saju (traditional fortune telling) in advance. DinDin explained their compatibility revealed in the Saju, saying, "If I set the direction, he runs forward without hesitation."
Lee Joon also expressed satisfaction with his chemistry with DinDin. He jokingly claimed to be a "follower type" who enjoys being led, stating, "I like it because I lack leadership myself. I want to be led." Lee Joon added, "Our team is invincible," showing confidence in the victory achieved with DinDin. On the other hand, Lee Ki-taek, who had hoped to learn from mentor Moon Se-yoon, created a heartwarming atmosphere by saying, "It's so great to be able to learn from the mentor for a long time."
A Desolate Failure in Front of Beef: Lee Joon's Muk-jji-ppa Tragedy
Separate from the joy of the half-day leave, a bitter result followed in the battle for food. After satisfying their hunger with only lettuce and rice, DinDin and Lee Joon took on a beef mission proposed by Moon Se-yoon. Moon Se-yoon declared he would give beef to the winner of a game of Muk-jji-ppa (a variation of Rock-Paper-Scissors) within a 30-second time limit. After a fierce battle, Lee Joon emerged victorious and had the meat right in front of him, but Moon Se-yoon suddenly declared "Time's up," nullifying Lee Joon's victory.
While Lee Joon stood there looking devastated, Moon Se-yoon kept the momentum going by immediately offering DinDin another chance, saying, "This time, I'll give you 15 seconds." Lee Joon's sudden loss of the meat, combined with Lee Yong-jin's unexpected reaction, provided a moment of great laughter. As the workshop heat intensifies, the next moves of DinDin and Lee Joon, who won the half-day leave, and their obsession with the beef have heightened curiosity about what comes next.
