The 766th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs,' which aired on July 25, was presented as the second part of the '2026 Champions' Special,' featuring all the winners from the first half of the year. In this second part, a total of five teams competed: Lyn & Jo Jazz, Min Woo-hyuk & Cho Hyung-gyun & Kim Joo-ri, K.Will, Kim Dong-jun & Young Tak, and Nexz.
Lyn and Jo Jazz, who opened the stage, appeared with matching 'couple bob' hairstyles. Lyn expressed her ambition to overcome everyone with the power of her short hair, stating, "I matched my hairstyle with Jo Jazz to gain some strength so I wouldn't be overwhelmed by the momentum."
MC Lee Chan-won burst into laughter upon seeing the duo's transformation. Expressing his surprise, he remarked, "Ah, even the back of the hair is exactly the same," before adding, "But how can the vibe be so different despite having the same hairstyle? One of them looks like they're from Mongolia," sending the studio into fits of laughter.
While Jo Jazz usually prefers dark clothing to suit his physique, he chose a white outfit this time to coordinate with Lyn. He explained, "I prepared the outfits so that Lyn looks like an angel and I look like a strongman."
The song selected by the duo was Cho Jang-hyuk's 'Addicted Love.' Lyn shared her reason for the choice, saying, "It's a song that suits Jo Jazz well, and the lyrics resonate with my current understanding of love. We wanted to align our sensibilities to create a moving stage." Jo Jazz added, "Inspired by Forestella's seven consecutive wins in the Champions' Special, we are going to write a new history."
Accompanied by a 34-piece orchestra and a choir, the performance blended Lyn's soulful vocals with Jo Jazz's deep bass. A standing ovation erupted in the waiting room. Watching the performance, Forestella's Ko Woo-rim said, "I was so immersed in their stage that I felt like I wanted to be squeezed between Lyn's vocal cords and Jo Jazz's diaphragm."
