Lee Ki Taek, the newest member of KBS 2TV's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4', caused an accident that halted filming just two months after joining the cast. In the '2026 Summer Workshop' episode aired on the 26th, a situation occurred where camera equipment was damaged during a game of chance as members fought to secure sleep time.

On this day, instead of the traditional sleeping arrangement game, the members participated in a 'Bedtime Luck Game.' The six members—Kim Jong Min, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin, Lee Joon, Lee Yong-jin, and Lee Ki Taek—had to endure a late-night schedule lasting until 3:00 AM. The intense battle for the right to sleep began with the first recreation, a game of 'Musical Chairs.'

The rules of the game required players to wear goggles and grab a chair to immediately earn the right to sleep. However, Lee Ki Taek's excessive enthusiasm right after the start led to an accident. While moving to find a chair, Lee Ki Taek mistook the camera in front of him for a chair and swung it.

Moon Se-yoon shouted, "Hey, that's the camera!" in a desperate attempt to stop him, but it was already too late. The camera swung by Lee Ki Taek collided heavily with the floor, causing the lens to shatter and fly off. The scene quickly turned into chaos as a flustered Moon Se-yoon even ended up crushing the chair he had successfully grabbed. Ultimately, filming was temporarily suspended to repair the camera, and staff members rushed to perform emergency recovery work. Lee Ki Taek looked embarrassed and helpless, while the production team resumed filming after placing the cameras further away than usual to prevent a recurrence.

Relationships between members revealed in mutual evaluations and DinDin's influence

Before the accident, the members had a session for mutual evaluation, where they wrote down each other's strengths and weaknesses. Lee Ki Taek, in his second month with the show, left the weakness section blank, stating he had yet to find any flaws in his older colleagues.
