Jang Min-ho to host 'NOM.NOM.NOM SHOW' in LA for Chuseok

Singer Jang Min-ho is set to meet local fans in LA to celebrate the Chuseok holiday. Through his official Instagram, Jang announced his appearance in the 'NOM.NOM.NOM SHOW,' which will be held on September 25 and 26 at the Grand Ballroom of the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.

In the released video, Jang Min-ho appeared wearing a white tuxedo paired with a black bowtie. Standing before the camera with neatly styled hair, he shared, “To celebrate this Chuseok holiday, a very special performance will be held in LA.” The show will consist of three sessions: September 25 at 6 PM, and September 26 at 12 PM and 6 PM.

A Premium K-Trot Stage at a 5-Star Hotel

Organized by LV Nexus Co., Ltd., this performance distinguishes itself from previous trot concerts in the Americas, which were primarily held at casino venues. By utilizing the Grand Ballroom of the five-star InterContinental Hotel as the stage, the event aims for a premium experience under the concept of 'K-Music Celebrity Gala Night.'

The lineup features four performers, including Jang Min-ho, Chun Rok-dam, Kim Yong-pil, and Na Tae-ju. Each member has been given a descriptive title: 'The Cool and Handsome Guy' (Jang Min-ho), 'The Guy Who Is Good at Everything' (Chun Rok-dam), 'The Romantic and Gentle Guy' (Kim Yong-pil), and 'The Guy Who Outshines the Best' (Na Tae-ju). In addition to their signature songs, they will perform various genres, including pop and Latin music, tailored to the Korean-American audience. Kim Yong-pil stated, “We will share the essence of trot—'Han' and 'Heung'—with the American audience. We will set the LA night ablaze with top-tier vocals and performances.”

Overseen by producer Park Sun-joo, the concert aims to be a global content piece where music and culture converge. Park expressed her hope, saying, “I hope this serves as an opportunity to introduce the charm of Korean trot to American audiences and to expand K-Trot into a global genre.”

Directed by Director Ji Young-bin with K-Beauty Brand Collaboration

Director Ji Young-bin, a UNESCO-designated artist, directed the promotional video to enhance its visual quality. The video was produced with a musical concept set in 1970s New York, and the performers wore outfits from the tuxedo brand Rod & Tailor. The event will be hosted by MC Kim Woo-jung, who has 18 years of experience.

Immediately following the concert, a separate after-party for 200 VIPs will be held at the Hotel Indigo Los Angeles. The skincare brand 'houry,' which targets the U.S. market, is participating as an official sponsor, providing three of its flagship products to the performers and VIP guests.

Meanwhile, Jang Min-ho continues his activities, recently appearing on MBN's 'Legendary Man.' In the third episode of 'Legendary Man,' airing on the 29th at 9:40 PM, Team Kang Jin and Team Jin Seong will face off in the 'Friendship Battle.' A stage will be prepared where Kang Jin and Jin Seong swap and sing each other's signature songs, with Jang Min-ho noting, “It is a rare sight to see the two of them singing each other's hits.”
