tvN SHOW's flagship variety program 'Free 19' has concluded its 10-year journey. Since its premiere in May 2016, the show has served as a pillar of informative variety programming, delivering information across diverse fields such as politics, society, travel, and food through various ranking formats. 'Free 19' officially confirmed its conclusion following its 530th episode aired on the 27th.

The final episode was presented under the theme "Special! Vacation Gift Extravaganza 19." The three MCs—Jun Hyun-moo, Oh Sang-jin, and Han Seok-jun—showcased the expertise they had built over the past decade by introducing iconic shopping items from around the world and trending local products. The production team expressed their gratitude by presenting special gifts to the three MCs who had led the program for so long.

"10 years, thank you for everything" — The MCs' parting words

Following the news of the show's end, the MCs took to social media to reminisce about their time together. Former announcer and broadcaster Oh Sang-jin posted on his account on the 28th, writing, "10 years. Thank you for everything!" He shared a group photo taken with the production staff and cast after the final recording, along with a photo of himself laughing and clinking glasses with Jun Hyun-moo and Han Seok-jun at the wrap party.

Han Seok-jun, who worked alongside them, left a slightly longer reflection. "I still vividly remember the day we first started this program. Back then, I had no idea I would be standing here for this long; I was simply grateful to find a program that felt like a steady salary after going freelance," he recalled. He continued, "Introducing new stories every week allowed me to learn and grow as well. The moments we spent laughing, being surprised, and nodding along were not just work, but a part of my life. These 10 years were only possible thanks to the viewers." Han added that he was able to prepare for the end calmly because the production team had informed him of the conclusion a month and a half in advance.

A legacy of 530 episodes and over 10,000 pieces of content

After taking its first steps in May 2016, 'Free 19' aired a total of 530 episodes over approximately 10 years and 2 months, covering a vast amount of content exceeding 10,000 items. It was a long-running program that satisfied viewers' curiosity by covering a wide range of topics, from political and social issues to travel, food, and lifestyle information. Each week, the three MCs focused on delivering information by ranking new topics.

Beyond his broadcasting career, Oh Sang-jin started a family after marrying Kim So-young, a former colleague from his days as an MBC announcer, in 2017. Having welcomed his first daughter in 2019 and his second son this past April, he is entering a new chapter of his life alongside the conclusion of this program. The final recording brought together the entire production team and cast, and the photos shared by Oh captured him standing in the studio with Jun Hyun-moo and Han Seok-jun, as well as sharing a toast at the wrap party.
