KickFlip takes unique steps to connect with citizens at the Administrative Welfare Center

The artist group KickFlip spent a special time naturally mingling with local residents during a visit to a community center. They visited the Amsa 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center to assist residents with their daily tasks and experience the atmosphere firsthand, showcasing a friendly and approachable side. This activity was released through KickKick Original EP.27, 'KickFlip Community Center.'

Connecting with Citizens While Experiencing Community Center Operations

The members of KickFlip began their activities by noting the updated name of the administrative welfare center. They discussed how the former "Dong Office" had been renamed to an "Administrative Welfare Center" while experiencing its various functions firsthand. Some members reminisced about visiting such centers with their mothers in the past, noting that they should now be able to handle civil services on their own. The members recreated the actual process experienced by citizens, such as taking a number and attempting to issue a resident registration certificate.

During the process, the members lightened the mood with playful banter, such as presenting their IDs and sharing old photos. Laughter ensued as they revealed their ID photos, ranging from high school pictures to rushed shots with sleep in their eyes and photos taken just last year. One member even connected with the citizens by using the health measurement services provided at the center. After receiving candy based on his cholesterol test results, he gave a humorous response, vowing to eat more protein and vegetables. The members also shed light on the role of the community center by resolving administrative curiosities, such as how cohabitation relationships are set during the issuance of resident registration certificates.

Going beyond simple experience, KickFlip stepped up to help citizens visiting the center. Upon spotting an elderly person carrying heavy bags, they approached and offered help, asking, "Isn't that heavy?" They also showed thoughtful consideration by helping a citizen who was struggling to send a photo via text message after taking it on a smartphone. Moving through the center, the members spread vibrant energy by greeting citizens with bright smiles and handing out fans to those exhausted by the heat.

The dance performance prepared to add excitement to the scene led to some unexpected moments. When the members attempted to perform a dance to cheer up the citizens, the reaction on-site was quite unexpected. A minor commotion occurred due to a mishap involving one member's tall stature, but the group remained focused on their primary goal: providing practical help to the citizens. KickFlip concluded their activities by sharing the local characteristics of Amsa 1-dong and the daily lives of its residents, strengthening their bond with the community.
