Newbit to hold first overseas concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

The group Newbit (Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyeon, Kim Tae-yang, Cho Yun-hu, Kim Ri-u) is visiting Taiwan for the first time since their debut. Newbit will take the stage at the K-pop concert ‘K-WAVE INFINITY’ held at the Kaohsiung Arena in Taiwan on the 8th to meet local fans.

This performance is a large-scale festival bringing together K-pop artists spanning various eras, from the 2nd to the 5th generation. Newbit will perform alongside artists such as Highlight, Apink, Cravity, and Flare-U.

A 30-minute all-live performance

During this stage, Newbit will deliver an ‘all-live’ performance, singing every song live for approximately 30 minutes. The setlist includes the title track from their first full-length album, ‘Flip the Coin.’ In addition, they will perform a newly rearranged version of ‘We Are Young’ and a Chinese version of ‘Cappuccino.’

They have also prepared special cover stages aimed at the local audience. Newbit aims to prove their performance capabilities with a dance cover medley spanning multiple genres. They plan to draw enthusiastic responses from local fans by reinterpreting songs that were popular in Taiwan or famous OSTs.

Newbit continues global activities

Newbit made their debut in the music industry last November with the release of their first mini-album, ‘LOUDER THAN EVER.’ At the time, the title track ‘Look So Good’ topped six categories on Amazon Music in the US. Since then, they have been expanding their international fandom by completing their first nationwide tour and activities in China.

Recently, they solidified their position as next-generation rising stars by winning the ‘KM Next Potential’ award at ‘KMA 2026.’ Their acceptance speech, delivered through tears at the ceremony, became a hot topic online. For this visit to Taiwan, Newbit will engage with Taiwanese fans through a diverse schedule, including appearances on local television and radio, magazine shoots, and busking.
