SBS 'Running Man' members are set to race through the Jongno area in a special 'Jongno Mabul' race. Airing on August 9 at 6 PM, this special episode is designed to visit historical sites in commemoration of the August 15 Liberation Day. During the race, Hong Jin-ho left the cast in stitches with his uniquely difficult pronunciation, while newcomer Kim Ji-yu made a bold impression with her unabashed flattery toward Yoo Jae-suk.

"Are you lagging?" Hong Jin-ho's unique pronunciation and fearless spirit

During a pronunciation game in this episode, Hong Jin-ho bewildered the cast by pronouncing 'sodium guanate' as 'guanate-sasa-tium.' Hearing this, Yang Se-chan expressed his disbelief, asking, "Are you lagging?" Yoo Jae-suk, sitting nearby, also gave a blunt reaction, saying, "I thought a dog was barking (because it sounded like 'wal-wal')."

Hong Jin-ho also spared no effort during the missions. Tasked with a mission to move water while wearing a cone hat, he completed the task to the end despite getting completely soaked. The members engaged in fierce competition throughout Jongno, aiming to finish the race to win prizes or avoid penalties.

Kim Ji-yu's 'Yoo Line' strategy and Yoo Jae-suk's historical knowledge

Newly joined member Kim Ji-yu left a strong impression from her very first appearance. To win over Yoo Jae-suk, she employed an active 'Yoo Line' strategy throughout the race. She made the members burst into laughter by slyly flattering Yoo Jae-suk as he walked silently, saying, "I feel like I'm going to cry because you've given me so much great advice." Kim Ji-yu also showed her passion by passionately singing 'Chang' to secure her lunch.

Throughout the race, Yoo Jae-suk showcased his intellectual side by explaining the historical background of Jongno.
