The World of 'Pi-cheol-in' Completed with Sunglasses and Rosaries
On set, Dino paid meticulous attention to every detail to build the identity of the 'Pi-cheol-in' character. To reflect the character's love for flashy things, he used various sunglasses to shift the mood and added depth to the character's persona with props like rosaries typically found in temples. Notably, when portraying a character who just woke up, he maximized the character's unique charm through unexpected combinations, such as pairing breathable pajamas with mountain-climbing sunglasses.
Preparing for this role, Dino revealed his efforts toward realistic acting, stating, "I went to my grandmother's house to get a lot of inspiration." During the filming of the music video for 'Michyeo Michyeo,' Dino revealed another side of himself. Taking on the role of a teacher—a childhood dream of his—he transformed into a passionate 'star instructor,' tapping on the chalkboard while lecturing. Performing under the watchful eyes of the staff, he delivered dynamic movements just like a real instructor, heightening the immersion on set.
What stood out on set was Dino's warm demeanor. As filming proceeded in the hot weather, Dino took meticulous care of the child actors. He softened the atmosphere by making eye contact while providing them with fan breezes and high-fiving them after asking about their dreams. He also radiated warm energy throughout the shoot, showing respect to extras and elderly staff members by telling them, "It is an honor to work with you."
During breaks, he showed his energetic side by warming up with the staff at the jokgu (foot volleyball) court.
