P1Harmony to release hyperpop-infused third mini album 'BLOW UP'

P1Harmony members INTAK, KEEHO, and THEO teased a new musical direction featuring hyperpop and electronic genres for their third mini album, 'BLOW UP', which is scheduled for release on November 6.

The group P1Harmony has teased a new musical attempt that goes beyond their existing color. Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Jo Hyun-ah's Ordinary Thursday Night' on November 5, P1Harmony members INTAK, KEEHO, and THEO expressed anticipation for their upcoming third mini album, 'BLOW UP'.

"A harmony of hyperpop and electronic"... a changed musical direction

P1Harmony teased a significantly different atmosphere for their third mini album 'BLOW UP', scheduled for release on November 6. The members emphasized that this album contains a new side of the team that they have not shown until now. Regarding the genre characteristics of this album, THEO explained, "It is a song that slightly mixes hyperpop with an electronic genre." He added, "I listened to a lot of music from various electronic singers who are hot in the United States while working on it. From the moment the demo arrived, I felt it was my taste, so I worked on it, and it is easy to listen to because it has energy and rhythm that pushes through from beginning to end."

The conversation continued with the members picking specific B-side tracks. KEEHO mentioned the track 'Momentum', explaining that it includes the lyric "Words without action are fiction," and sang a portion of the song, saying, "We can keep it, we can momentum, I can jump in without thinking." On the other hand, INTAK shared a reversed impression, stating, "When I first received the demo, to be honest, I didn't like 'How To' and didn't know what to do with it. As the release approaches, I keep listening to all the songs, and it feels harmonious because it has the feeling of P1Harmony's previous songs while also feeling like we have grown."

Solid trust in a 6-year team... "Support comes before jealousy"

The members, now in their sixth year since debut, showed deep trust in one another. When asked about recent feelings of disappointment or arguments among members, INTAK showed a cool side, answering, "I don't really feel disappointed emotions." The members stated that their relationship has become more mature over time. They agreed, saying, "Since it has been about 6 years, we respect each other as professionals. In the past, we might have been jealous or clashed, but now we mostly want things to go well and have a great desire to cheer each other on to go further."

The member serving as the leader expressed a sense of responsibility for leading the team, saying, "At first, I had concerns about taking on the leader role, but now I think it was good that I became the leader." He added that the leader mainly performs such a role within the team.

Different personalities, three members who are similar yet different

The conversation also turned to the actual personalities and images of the members living together. The members defined their individual personalities by comparing each other's appearances and characters to animals. INTAK showed a professional side by expressing pride in his dancing, and THEO revealed a personality that, contrary to his appearance, challenges things he likes without hesitation. KEEHO was introduced as a member with a unique color and stylish fashion sense.

The perspectives they held toward one another were also specific. THEO commented on KEEHO, saying, "The appearance seen in front and the appearance in the back are the same, and he is reliable," while INTAK highly evaluated KEEHO's singing skills and soulful style. In terms of appearance comparisons, a friendly atmosphere was created as they discussed how INTAK resembles a golden retriever, THEO resembles a duck, and KEEHO resembles a Maltese. Additionally, KEEHO showed diverse sides by mentioning various images such as a fish, a horse, a dinosaur, a snake, and a wolf-like face.
