Jung Hye-rin Challenges Taking Care of an 11-Month-Old Baby… “I Must Be Filial to My Mother”

Jung Hye-rin conveyed the hardships of childcare through a video capturing her daily life caring for her younger sister's baby.

Recently, Jung Hye-rin released a video through her YouTube channel showing her caring for Roa, the 11-month-old baby of her younger sister Ryu Ye-won. In the video, before starting to care for the baby, Jung Hye-rin expressed nervousness, saying, "I'm not very good at looking after babies, so I'm a bit nervous," but also expressed her intention that it would be sufficiently possible since she watches a lot of parenting information through YouTube.

Making Formula Using a Baby Bottle Shaker and Kitchen Play

In the full-scale childcare process, Jung Hye-rin began with the process of putting exactly 6 scoops of formula into a baby bottle. She prepared the formula using a sterilized baby bottle and a baby bottle shaker, and during the process of shaking the shaker, she showed herself boosting the baby's excitement. Afterwards, she continued the process of feeding the baby using kitchen play toys and fruit models.

During the meal process, unexpected situations occurred, such as the baby making a mess by smearing food all over their face. Jung Hye-rin continued to provide care while watching the baby eat, but in the latter half of the video, the realistic aspects of childcare were revealed as the baby continued to spill food.

In an evaluation conducted after the childcare was finished, Ryu Ye-won gave Jung Hye-rin 95 points out of 100. Ryu Ye-won cited the fact that she put the baby to sleep, as well as the fact that she approached the situation with continuous laughter and calmness even in situations where one might get irritated while caring for the baby, as the reasons.

On the other hand, Jung Hye-rin gave herself 70 points. Jung Hye-rin stated that she wanted to give herself a higher score, but since she could not grasp the baby's intentions and thoughts, she judged herself as lacking and gave 70 points. Additionally, at the end of the video, Jung Hye-rin mentioned the physical fatigue that occurred while caring for the baby. Jung Hye-rin shared that her hands were trembling and she was experiencing migraines because she did a lot of arm exercises because of the baby. She then emphasized filial piety toward the love and hard work of parents, saying, "Let's be good to our parents."
