SF9 makes comeback with 2nd full-length album after 6 years... "Will show diverse colors like Ditto"

The group SF9 has embarked on full-scale activities by releasing their second full-length album after 6 years. The released behind-the-scenes video contains the process from the media showcase to music show waiting rooms and the scene of "reverse tribute" events for fans.

"A team like the ever-changing Ditto"... The musical color defined by SF9

At the showcase for their second full-length album, SF9 answered questions regarding the team's identity. The members defined SF9's color as "ever-changing" and compared it to "Ditto," which absorbs any concept and makes it their own. The members explained, "We are like the Pokémon Ditto, which absorbs the characteristics or good points of others and sublimes them into one's own strengths," adding, "It seems like the members possess various cells that are not extreme."

Regarding their musical color, one member added, "In the past, we used to describe ourselves as being like a blank space or a white canvas, but now, the color of SF9 is that all members can act as musicians as independent subjects while being able to pull out their necessary abilities at the right time," and "I am looking forward to it because I think a charm that cannot be predicted will emerge in the next album as well." This title track, 'Without Wings', is a song that the members put a lot of effort into, capturing the ever-changing aspect of the team.

A full-length album after 6 years, a record from the showcase to music shows

This activity is deeply meaningful to SF9. It is their first full-length album in 6 years and their first showcase in about 4 years. After finishing the showcase, the members shared their thoughts, saying, "Since it was our first showcase in a long time, we were nervous, but seeing FANTASY definitely gave us a sense of stability, so we were able to enjoy it."

The members' appearances continued in subsequent music show activities. Starting with Mnet's 'M COUNTDOWN', they continued their activities by appearing on major music programs such as Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo. The members mentioned the changes they felt during their activities, saying, "I feel like we've aged. We are learning how to control ourselves to save energy for the live broadcast compared to before." Additionally, regarding the album configuration that captures the dark atmosphere of this album, they stated, "It seems to be a concept album that fits the title."

Sincerity toward fans, 'reverse tribute' delivered with hot dogs and fried chicken

During the activity period, SF9 showed their affection for fans by conducting various 'reverse tribute' events. The members prepared oven-roasted fried chicken, tteokbokki, hot dogs, beverage coupons, and signed photo cards for the fans. In particular, the member who prepared the hot dogs and beverage coupons said, "I prepared this modestly to repay FANTASY members who come from far away," and "I believe the fans watching this video enjoyed it." The member who prepared the oven-roasted fried chicken added, "I was worried it might be hard to eat because of the hot weather, but I hope they enjoy it with mustard sauce."
