Global project 'Kidnap Game' proceeding simultaneously in 7 cities
In this video, Joon-gi Lee and Kentaro introduced the work they are appearing in together, 'Kidnap Game'. The project deals with kidnapping incidents occurring simultaneously in seven cities. They explained that it is a global project capturing various concerns and psychological battles that arise in the process of struggling to save precious people. The targets of the kidnapping incidents consist of individuals being kidnapped for different reasons, such as daughters or men.
The broadcasting method of the work is also distinctive. It begins in South Korea and Japan from October 6, and takes a unique format where the drama is broadcast through channels in multiple countries like a movie. They revealed that the filming process involved arduous work, including action scenes, such as filming near a Han River bridge in minus 15 degree Celsius cold. Kentaro mentioned the cold temperature during filming and conveyed the difficulties of the site.
Joon-gi Lee's life movie 'Titanic' and Kentaro's challenge as an actor
When asked about his values as an actor, Joon-gi Lee chose 'Titanic' as his life movie. He highly evaluated director James Cameron's directing skills, specifically mentioning the scene where the musicians did not stop playing when the ship was sinking as an impressive moment. He evaluated it as the best work where all emotions are delivered, stating that a good work is something one can project any character into, and mentioning the conviction of the person who built the ship to protect it until the end. He also expressed pride, saying that his past work 'King and the Clown' is a work that has allowed him to be loved by many people until now.
Kentaro revealed that he started modeling at age 19 and chose the path of an actor because he felt the joy of expressing himself. He expressed his ambition to challenge more diverse roles in the future. In particular, he mentioned that he will take on a villain role for the first time in his next work, signaling that he is attempting a change. Kentaro mentioned the Japanese folktale 'The Tale of the Princess Kaguya' as a memorable work and recalled how the music allowed the sad scenario to move forward.

Joon-gi Lee also revealed that he is a personality type (ENFP) who gains energy by communicating with people on set. He added that while he feels like his battery is discharged when he is alone, he changes thanks to the energy, affection, and communication of people on set.
During the conversation, when asked how far he would go to protect a precious person, Joon-gi Lee drew laughter by answering that if it were his most precious friend, "I can lend up to half of the cash I have." Kentaro concluded the video by expressing his expectation that since this work contains the hard work of actors and staff from various countries, many people will enjoy watching the characters' concentration.
