In the video, Ji Yeon-soo expressed the psychological shock she felt during the divorce process. Ji Yeon-soo said that when she heard the reason Eli put forward for demanding a divorce was her, it felt as if the heart she had built up over the past 10 years was collapsing. She expressed the sense of loss at the time, saying, "That person abandoned me and Min-su (son) too easily." She also shared her reflections on living as others dictated during her young 20s, mentioning the difficulties she faced during the process of marriage and childbirth.

Conflicting claims between Eli and Ji Yeon-soo: "I never gave notice"

Regarding the timing and method of the divorce notice, the positions of the two were starkly divided. Ji Yeon-soo claimed she received the divorce notice via phone immediately after entering South Korea. On the other hand, Eli showed a position contrary to Ji Yeon-soo's claim, stating, "I never gave notice."

The explanations from both sides also differed regarding the cause of the conflict. Eli mentioned conflict with his in-laws, specifically 'living with in-laws.' He suggested he experienced conflict between his parents and his wife, mentioning situations such as his mother calling Ji Yeon-soo to make her do something while staying in Japan. However, Ji Yeon-soo refuted this, saying, "I have never experienced living with in-laws," and countered that Eli tried to keep a distance between his parents and herself.

A choice for their son Min-su and future steps

The two explained that they experienced conflict right up until their broadcasting schedules due to frequent arguments, and that they ended their relationship after a final fight at the airport. Eli stated that he decided to appear on the broadcast for his son Min-su. He appeared with his hair grown out for a month, saying he wants to show a clean appearance to his son.

Eli expressed his desire to spend time with his son Min-su and showed agreement that restoring the relationship with Ji Yeon-soo should be a priority for the sake of the child.
