A cappella group MayTree continued their road trip journey set against the natural backdrop of Okcheon, Chungbuk. The members teased their evening performance by approaching citizens while enjoying the scenery of Okcheon.

Capturing the Scenery of Okcheon: Garden of Heaven and a Small Chapel

The members of MayTree visited a place in Okcheon called the 'Garden of Heaven'. Amidst a landscape of lush trees and bushes, the members spent time against the backdrop of nature. In particular, when they visited a space known as the smallest chapel in the world, they had the unique experience of taking off their shoes to enter. In the well-ventilated, cool space, the members took a brief rest and felt the atmosphere of Okcheon.

They left records while visiting Okcheon's landmarks, such as observatories and frame-shaped photo zones. Against the backdrop of dizzying views overlooking cliffs or wide-open vistas, the members shared moments of their trip by capturing each other's images. The members had a joyful time taking photos at the observatory frame photo zone, and even while moving and sweating, they enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Okcheon.

"See you at 6:30 PM": Busking Announcement Delivered to Citizens

MayTree did not stop at simply enjoying the scenery; they directly approached citizens to announce the performance scheduled for that evening. Introducing themselves as the a cappella group MayTree to citizens they met on the street, the members shared the news that a guerrilla busking performance would be held at the Okcheon Traditional Culture Experience Center at 6:30 PM.

Meeting local residents, including a citizen who came from Daegu, the members asked them to search for their YouTube channel or greeted them, asking them to come by at the performance time. Near the Okcheon County Office, they also approached citizens to encourage them to watch the performance on their way home, heightening the atmosphere on-site. The members asked citizens to search for their YouTube channel to listen to their songs and also mentioned Jeju as their next destination.

Final Settings for the Performance, Steps Toward the Stage

As the performance time approached, MayTree arrived at the Okcheon Traditional Culture Experience Center and began stage setting. The members finely adjusted the position and direction of the speakers to ensure the sound would be well-delivered to the audience. In particular, they checked the acoustic status, such as directing the speakers toward the grass to reduce feedback. To utilize the lawn as the audience space, they were seen deliberating on the stage composition, sharing opinions that it would be better for the performers to stand even just one step up.

The members completed their final preparations for the performance by checking each other's parts and reviewing the lyrics. Along with the sight of the members preparing for the performance while being careful not to take over each other's parts, the process of building the optimal stage for the audience to stay continued.
