Comedians Weigh a Gapyeong Honeymoon Against a Luxury Trip Abroad

The YouTube show Open for Business put comedians through a series of “balance game” dilemmas, from changing body measurements to questions about a partner’s past. The wedding scenario pitted a lavish wedding and a Gapyeong water-park honeymoon against a modest family-home wedding and a weeklong luxury honeymoon abroad.

Comedians debated outlandish hypothetical choices on Open for Business, a variety show released on the Sibicheung YouTube channel. The episode’s “balance game” asked them to choose between two difficult options across topics including body proportions, relationships and wedding plans.

Calculating changes to body measurements

One prompt asked where they would add or subtract 5 centimeters if they could change a body part. One comedian proposed reducing the forehead by 1 centimeter, the cheeks and cheekbones by 0.5 centimeters each, and the chin by about 0.5 centimeters to improve facial balance. The discussion also included a joke about reducing a specific cast member’s measurements by 0.25 centimeters.

The talk turned to height and weight. The comedians considered different combinations, including 170 centimeters and 55 kilograms, and 180 centimeters and 50 kilograms, as they tried to work out an ideal proportion. One quipped that all the calculations felt like they could help prevent dementia.

A partner’s secrets or romantic history

A relationship question asked what they would choose to learn by seeing the inner thoughts of a partner they had been dating for a year: a secret the partner was hiding, or the ranking of people they had previously dated. Opinions were divided. One comedian called uncovering a secret a Pandora’s box they would rather leave unopened. On the ranking option, another said they would have to accept being shaken by external factors.

They discussed the insecurity someone might feel if a partner ranked previous romantic partners above them. The comedians came up with hypothetical rankings across categories such as happiness, financial stability, fun and sexual compatibility. One considered a scenario in which sexual compatibility ranked first, weighing pride against satisfaction in a candid, provocative hypothetical.

A Gapyeong honeymoon or a week abroad

The wedding dilemma drew the strongest response. One option was an extravagant wedding costing hundreds of millions of won, with many guests and expenses split equally, followed by a honeymoon at a Gapyeong water park. The alternative was a wedding at the partner’s ordinary family home, followed by a weeklong luxury honeymoon abroad.

The comedians were taken aback by the extremes but debated the practical cost question and the difference between the honeymoon destinations. Their discussion of wedding scale and honeymoon choice highlighted their differing values.
