Kim Tae-woo is preparing for his final stage on Mnet's 'Street World Fighter: Directors' War' by attempting to visualize ten different game characters through a 5v5 team choreography mission. After facing a 9-0 defeat against Back Koo Young earlier in the program, the choreographer is using past failures as stepping stones for this final challenge.

A choreographer who has experienced failure has revealed a strengthened mindset ahead of his final stage. Kim Tae-woo, a choreographer on Mnet's 'Street World Fighter: Directors' War', is challenging a mission themed around e-sports, expressing his will to rise above past frustrations.

The World of e-sports Implemented Through 10 Characters

The core of this mission is to bring the world of e-sports onto a stage-style performance. Based on a 5v5 team format, the choreographers are focusing on visualizing the unique characteristics of each character through choreography and production. They plan to unfold the colors of ten game characters on stage, including a wind swordsman, a gunslinger, a female assassin using small daggers, a mage using fire, and a military concept. The character lineup includes an executor, a beastman, an execution ground, a fighter, and a time controller.

The choreographers discussed specific production methods to bring out the individuality of the characters. For characters using swords, they decided to increase immersion by adding details such as making mouth sounds to match their movements. The music will also consist of grand songs containing a narrative of victory, with plans to implement the grand feeling of "brazing the" by layering choir sounds. This mission is the stage where they are putting in the most effort so far, with the goal of being remembered as a wonderful performance by those who do not know games, and a performance that well-interprets game characteristics by those who do.

"Failure is a Solid Stepping Stone": Kim Tae-woo's Final Gamble

One choreographer is dreaming of a comeback while honestly confessing past failures. Kim Tae-woo recalled the process of failure he experienced from his Dancing Line days at age 23 to BMB Shes. Having faced slumps, such as a 9-0 defeat against Back Koo Young early in the program, he even questioned his own aptitude, but he shared that he is approaching the challenge with the mindset: "If you say you'll die, you live, and if you say you'll live, you die." He showed his determination to see things through to the end since he has decided to do it.

He mentioned that the failures he has experienced so far have instead become a solid stepping stone for the present, and that now is the time to step on that stone and leap. As this mission is the final threshold and the final stage, he steeled his resolve to pour everything into proving his capabilities as a 'Phase Fun Director'.
