Choreographer Back Koo Young has prepared a high-risk stage to shake off the regrets of his past. In the 4th episode of 〈Last Stage: 24H〉 released by The CHOOM, the rehearsal process and the feelings of Back Koo Young regarding 〈Street World Fighter: Directors' War〉, which is ahead of its final live broadcast on Mnet and tvN on October 20, were captured.

"The despair felt at the threshold of the finals 4 years ago"... A challenge endured through resentment

Ahead of the rehearsal, Back Koo Young recalled his past failures and revealed the desperate reason for approaching this stage. He mentioned the emotions he felt when he failed to advance to the finals during 'Street Man Fighter' four years ago. He confessed that the despair he experienced after being eliminated at the threshold of the finals was so great that it would never be forgotten for the rest of his life.

He said his motivation for appearing in this program was also to resolve the regrets from that time. Although he has been active as a choreographer for a long time, he expressed his desire to have his existence recognized as a choreographer and his will to prove it. In particular, as he is among the oldest participants, he emphasized that he is aware this opportunity is not easy and that he will show why he survived without being pushed aside by other participants.

The fear of failure and the determination to "climb up even if I have to crawl"

The stage composition involved high risks. Due to repeated failures during the practice process, Back Koo Young felt the pressure of a racing heart and the fear that he might make a mistake during the actual broadcast stage. Even during the rehearsal, there were unstable moments such as movements slipping, but he showed strong willpower, saying, "I will definitely go up," and "If I have no teeth, I will climb up onto the podium even if I have to crawl with this body."

The reason for taking the risk instead of making a safe choice was clear. This was because a challenging composition was necessary to avoid mistakes during the broadcast while also receiving the highest score. At the rehearsal site, tension hung in the air regarding the difficulty of the movements and whether they would succeed, and those around him also appeared to desperately wish for his success.

The risky choreography finally achieved, a moment of proof

In the stage that began amidst tension, Back Koo Young performed the prepared movements. The process of overcoming the unstable elements that appeared during the rehearsal and continuing the movements followed, and he continued the stage while handling high-difficulty movements. At the rehearsal site, reactions such as "He has a deep charm" were heard regarding his movements, and cheers erupted at the moment the challenge involving risk successfully continued.
