(I)-dle member MINNIE surprised her travel companions in Bangkok by hosting a surprise live performance at the club bar Aiya following a gourmet tour of local eateries and Big C Market.

MINNIE, a member of the K-pop group (I-dle), presented a surprise trip in Bangkok, Thailand, that caught her travel companions off guard. Revealed through the "JAY Tour" on the JAYKEEOUT YouTube channel, the journey focused on locations recommended to MINNIE by a local friend in Thailand.

From "Thai Kimchi" Som Tum to local eateries: MINNIE's recommended gourmet course

From the start of the trip, MINNIE led her companions to Ko Limited, a restaurant recommended by a local friend. MINNIE noted that the friend who suggested the restaurant lives in Thailand, expressing her hope that her companions would enjoy the food recommended to her. Som Tum, a representative Thai dish, was served during the meal. The companions described the som tum as "Thai kimchi," expressing satisfaction with its refreshing taste. It was explained that just as there are dozens or hundreds of types of kimchi in Korea, the methods and ingredients for making som tum vary from household to household.

Following the meal, the itinerary continued with a visit to the large Thai supermarket Big C Market. MINNIE emphasized the joy of shopping, mentioning that exploring supermarkets is very fun when traveling. She personally selected items to buy when visiting Thailand, including Thai royal honey, bean-shaped toothpaste, Ya Dom, and jellies. Following MINNIE's recommendations, her companions enjoyed shopping while looking at local snacks such as corn, Thai milk tea, and fruit bin do.

Surprise appearance and rehearsal at live club Aiya

The highlight of this trip was a surprise live performance prepared by MINNIE. To prevent her companions from noticing, MINNIE increased the tension by conducting a performance rehearsal in advance at the live club bar Aiya. MINNIE stated that music is an essential part of Thailand and that because the pubs and bars she visited always had live bands, she chose this location to let her companions experience the culture enjoyed by locals at night.

A large crowd gathered at the scene, and MINNIE expressed her nervousness while checking the plan backstage before the performance. "It is strange to be sitting in the audience like this when I am always backstage," MINNIE said, expressing her excitement.
