Father captures family journey through 1,400 photos on Jeju Island
A family's trip to Jeju Island concludes with the sharing of a massive 1,400-photo album created by a father and a creative "flight" home orchestrated by him.

A father documented his children's growth from birth to their recent trip to Jeju Island in a 1,400-photo album. Following the family excursion, the father also organized a five-minute "airplane play" at home to surprise the children before they greeted their mother.
A day of high activity for children passed against the backdrop of the blue beaches of Jeju Island. The journey of Jeong-woo, Eun-woo, and the father and grandfather caring for them went beyond a simple trip, becoming a time to confirm the family's records.
A father's record in 1,400 photos
At the end of the trip, the family opened an album carefully collected by the grandfather. This album, which contains 1,400 photos documenting everything from Eun-woo's birth to Jeong-woo's growth, was reportedly created by the father himself, one by one.

The album captured various aspects of the children. The father also engaged in conversations with the children by showing them photos of himself from the past. His desire to leave good memories for the children manifested in the tangible result of the album. It is a product of his wish that the children, as they grow up, can look at these records and feel how they have grown. The father expressed his hope that the children will always have good memories while calling out to their grandfather.
A '5-minute flight' home and a surprise event
On the way home after finishing the trip, the father prepared a special "airplane play" for the children. By setting the house as the destination and volunteering to play the role of a flight attendant, he created an atmosphere as if they were on an actual flight. Using an intercom and reading lights, the production turned the process of returning home into a game for the children. The scheduled flight time to the destination, home, was set at 5 minutes after takeoff.
The children were full of excitement as they waited for their mother. Wondering how the children would react when the mother returned, the father guided them so they could greet her. This event, which stimulated the children's imagination as the father performed the roles of airplane captain and flight attendant, provided a joyful memory for the whole family. The father also soothed the children by saying he would give strawberries to the mother.
Jeong-woo's mealtime using both hands
Mealtime following their arrival home once again confirmed the children's growth. In particular, Jeong-woo showed impressive progress by demonstrating a "two-spoon" eating method, using both hands. While the father was delighted to see the children eating well, he also had a busy time tending to their meals.
During the meal, the children showed they were communicating by remembering previous conversations with their father. As requests not to eat intersected with the children's desire to eat, the family's daily life was once again filled with vibrant energy.
