Rock band Mombrimz explores freedom and urban survival in forest performance

Four-member rock band Mombrimz released a For:Rest LIVE performance featuring the songs "Hey, Lee" and "KUNG FU," which explore themes of shedding prejudice and surviving in the city. The forest-set production was filmed in collaboration with Gyeonggi Music and supported by the Gyeonggi Content Agency.

The four-member rock band Mombrimz showcased a sound ranging from alternative to psychedelic set against the atmosphere of a forest. In this performance released by For:Rest LIVE, Mombrimz delivered distinct messages through two songs, "Hey, Lee" and "KUNG FU." The stage was planned in collaboration with Gyeonggi Music and was made possible through production support from the Gyeonggi Content Agency.

The freedom of letting go of prejudice, 'Hey, Lee'

The first song performed, "Hey, Lee," is composed like a conversation between two people. Through this track, Mombrimz conveys the message that one can finally become free only after letting go of prejudice. The lyrics depict emotions such as dancing to feel a trance-like state or running through a jungle while chasing shadows in one's head, describing the process of walking toward freedom to find one's true self and love. The sound, harmonizing with the forest atmosphere, supported the free emotions of the song.

Training for urban survival, 'KUNG FU'

The following stage was filled with "KUNG FU." This song carries the profound message that everyone must practice kung fu to survive in the city. Mombrimz delivered the theme by singing about urban survival methods within the space of the forest. The band structured the performance to match the flow of the songs, starting their greeting with "Hey, Lee" and concluding with "KUNG FU." The sound for this performance was produced by TechDataPS, AKG, and JBL, while cinematic support was provided by Cinemall, GODOX, PMI, and SmokeNinjaPro to enhance the quality. Additionally, instrument support was provided by PTS and energy support by goodnewsenergy.

Filming completed in the forest, "Please look forward to our future activities"

After finishing the stage, the members of Mombrimz expressed that they were honored to conduct the For:Rest LIVE filming through Indiestance. Introducing themselves as a four-member alternative rock band, Mombrimz stated they had a fun time completing the For:Rest LIVE filming today and hoped viewers would enjoy the video as it is.
