Comedian Kim Su-yong signs contracts for both BMW and Maserati vehicles
Comedian Kim Su-yong has made an unusual move by simultaneously signing contracts for vehicles from two different brands, BMW and Maserati, to suit different purposes.

Comedian Kim Su-yong has signed contracts for a BMW M3 and a Maserati vehicle to serve different purposes. After purchasing the M3 for approximately 140 million won, he completed a lump-sum payment for a Maserati model priced in the 300 million won range.
Comedian Kim Su-yong has shown an unusual approach by simultaneously signing contracts for vehicles from two different brands, BMW and Maserati. Moving beyond the simple dilemma of choosing just one vehicle, he decided to own both to match specific uses.
"Why should I only buy one?" The reason he decided on the BMW M3
Kim Su-yong visited the BMW Seongsu Showroom to examine various lineups while considering a purchase. He checked a series of models, ranging from coupe-style models to the 7 Series, which maximizes rear-seat convenience, to an SUV model equipped with a powerful engine. In particular, he showed interest in the convenience features of the 7 Series, such as the auto door function and massage seats. The 7 Series is a model designed for the rear seat, featuring an auto door option that adds convenience compared to driving without a chauffeur.

While reviewing several models, Kim Su-yong's attention stopped at the BMW M3. After experiencing the driving performance firsthand through a test drive, he determined that the driving feel of the M3 suited his personality well. "I think it matches my vibe," Kim Su-yong said, immediately signing a contract for the M3 model on-site. The contract amount was confirmed to be in the 140 million won range, and various service items such as a black box, i-Pass, and 10 umbrellas were mentioned during the contracting process.
"BMW for the mart, Maserati for gatherings" The rationale for two contracts
After completing the BMW contract, Kim Su-yong headed straight to a Maserati dealership. When asked, "What happens if you go to Maserati after already buying a BMW?" he showed a relaxed attitude, stating, "I can buy about two cars." At the Maserati dealership, he examined various models including the Ghibli, Grecale, and MC20. In particular, the 'Night Interaction' color was introduced for the Grecale model, and the MC20 drew attention as an open-top model.
Kim Su-yong focused on the design and performance of the MC20, which features an open-top function among the Maserati models. He continued his careful selection by personally checking detailed options such as the vehicle color and the texture of the steering wheel. He paid attention to fine details, such as choosing between a carbon steering wheel and a standard steering wheel based on which felt more comfortable to operate. The model he ultimately selected was a vehicle in the 300 million won price range.
There was a clear separation of use behind the decision to sign contracts for two cars simultaneously. "I will take the BMW when I go to the mart comfortably, and I will take the Maserati when there are gatherings or events," Kim Su-yong said, distinguishing the utility of each vehicle. He completed the Maserati contract with a lump-sum payment.
