ITZY demonstrates the power of 'Performance Queens' at their Manila concert
ITZY successfully completed their solo concert in Manila. As part of their third world tour 'Tunnel Vision', the members performed solo stages and hit songs during this performance.
ITZY's Overwhelming Performance Shakes Manila
The group ITZY has taken over Manila, Philippines. On July 11, ITZY completed their solo concert held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila as part of their third world tour, 'TUNNEL VISION'. This performance marks their return to Manila approximately two years after their second world tour, 'BORN TO BE', which took place in August 2024.
The members—Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna—captured the audience's attention from the moment the show began. Opening with the first song 'Focus', they followed up with a series of hits including their latest song 'Motto' released this May, as well as 'WANNABE', 'Not Shy', and 'LOCO', leading local fans in powerful sing-alongs. In particular, the solo stages for each member, revealed for the first time during this tour, enhanced the quality of the performance. Yeji's 'Pocket', Lia's 'Asylum', Ryujin's 'LOOK', Chaeryeong's 'Undefined', and Yuna's 'Tangerine' stages were presented in succession.
During the segments for 'GOLD', 'Wild Wild West', and 'Mafia In the morning', the members' energy filled the venue. As the performance for 'THAT'S A NO NO', which has recently been climbing back up the charts, began, cheers erupted throughout the arena. Responding to the fans' enthusiasm, the members performed the song once more as an encore.
Messages to Fans and Future Schedule
On stage, ITZY expressed their feelings toward their fandom, 'MIDZY'. The members said, "Although ITZY is the one standing on stage today, MIDZY was much more wonderful. Today made us realize how much you have waited for and supported ITZY, and time flew by because we were having so much fun. Let's meet again before it's too late."
Manila fans prepared a special event for ITZY. The audience conveyed their emotions to ITZY through an event involving playing a video during the performance and flying paper airplanes.
ITZY's world tour continues. This third tour, which began in Seoul last February, will proceed from the Macau concert on August 15 to Taipei (September 5), London (11th), Amsterdam (13th), Paris (15th), Frankfurt (17th), and Singapore (October 3). Meanwhile, ITZY will hold their fifth official fan meeting, 'ITZY The 5th Fan Meeting ITZY MIDZY, Let's Fly! "ALL IN, MIDZY"', at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on August 8 and 9.
