Singer HUI has completed her first solo concert in Taipei. On the 25th, HUI met with local fans through two performances of her 2026 Asia Tour 'HUI: Boy's Confession' in Taipei. This marks her first solo concert since her debut. Following her Seoul performance on the 12th, HUI continued the momentum of her Asia tour with this Taipei stage.
Localized Setlist and Communication in Chinese
The Taipei performance featured a different lineup compared to the Seoul show. HUI added new songs to the setlist specifically for the local audience. Throughout the concert, she communicated with local fans by delivering most of her ments in Chinese. Her song introductions and talk segments, conducted in high-level Chinese, served as key elements in driving the concert atmosphere.
The stage was centered around her original songs, with tracks arranged to evoke a sense of the seasons. HUI gave the first live performance of her upcoming summer song, 'BINGO,' which is scheduled for release on the 28th. She followed this with a series of seasonal original songs such as 'To My Tomorrow' and 'Winter Spring,' showcasing her vocal prowess. During performances of 'You Are,' 'Like This,' and 'Boyhood Sentiment,' she displayed delicate expression and soulful vocals.
Reinterpreting Local Classics and a Wide Musical Spectrum
The setlist also included songs that stirred nostalgia among local fans. HUI reinterpreted A-Ling's 'Happiness is Singing Again' and Lu Guangzhong's 'The Name Engraved in My Heart' with her own unique sensibility. By selecting songs widely known locally, she created moments where both Korean and Taipei fans could sing along together.
She also included cover stages that spanned various genres. Performing Jungkook's 'Seven' and Lee Mu-jin's 'Youth Cartoon,' HUI balanced the pace of the concert by alternating between her original songs and covers.
Paper Airplanes and Sing-alongs: The Fans' Response
Fan support events unfolded throughout the audience. Local fans performed by waving paper airplanes and responded to the stage with flashes, slogans, sing-alongs, and fan videos. The synergy between the artist and the fans continued throughout the entire duration of the show.
Even during the encore, the distance between the artist and the fans remained close. While singing 'Tearful' and 'I LOVE YOU SO MUCH,' HUI stepped down toward the audience to make eye contact with them. As fans continued to request encores, HUI performed an 'en-encore' set, adding 'Thank You,' 'Cold Killer,' and 'Shining.'
Release of New Song 'BINGO' and Future Schedule

This track, which was premiered live during this concert, is a summer song aimed at capturing the season. HUI will continue her full-scale activities alongside the release of the new song.
