During his tour spanning from Taipei to Hong Kong, Singer Lee Dong-hae demonstrated extraordinary care and sincerity toward his fans.
Singer Lee Dong-hae is forging a deep connection with his fans through his ongoing overseas tour. Starting in Taipei and continuing through Nanjing, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, Lee has meticulously prepared every aspect of his performances, from stage production to personal health management, to ensure an unforgettable experience for his fans.
On the first day of the Taipei concert, Lee expressed his excitement as he faced a venue packed with fans. During the show, he made the decisive move to remove all large lights near the stage to ensure fans had an unobstructed view. This decision stemmed from his belief that the fans' ability to see the performance clearly was far more important than flashy stage production.
"Every fan's presence is precious": Why he changed the stage setup
Lee prioritized fan convenience throughout his tour preparations. After receiving feedback in Taipei that the stage was difficult to see, he completely redesigned the setup for his subsequent performances by removing the lights from the floor. He explained that minimizing discomfort was a natural response, considering the time and anticipation fans invested in attending his shows.
He also took rigorous steps to manage his physical condition during the tour. To maintain his vocal health, he used products favored by vocalists, and to keep his body temperature stable, he carefully selected his attire and utilized various supplements, including vitamins, magnesium, and melatonin. He even attended to the smallest details, such as using incense in his waiting room to create a pleasant atmosphere.
A reunion after 11 years and the excitement in Hong Kong
Meeting fans in Nanjing for the first time in 11 years, Lee shared his profound emotions. He expressed his desire to hold fan meetings in various regions if given the opportunity, as fans had traveled from many different places to see him. Moving on to Guangzhou and Hong Kong, he continued to strive for closer communication with his supporters, including participating in brief autograph sessions.
In Hong Kong, where he held a solo concert, Lee revealed a mix of excitement and nerves. Despite having performed on stage for 21 years, he emphasized that he never takes for granted the time fans spend to see him. He approached the stage with a sincere attitude, expressing both gratitude and a sense of responsibility toward the fans who carved out time from their busy lives to support him.
